Part of the Cernunnos Foundation River Refugium Project’s approach is to look for root causes to our pollution problems, and one of them for rivers is city waste water treatment. So we looked for a solution and modeled it. Here it is.
You’re going to upgrade your sewage processing anyway. It’s inevitable. Infrastructure wears out, regulations tighten, and costs always go up. But instead of spending millions on the same outdated system, pay to build the facility to my specs, and I’ll handle the rest.
Because I know that waste isn’t waste—it’s profit when processed right. The key is having a city-sized feedstock supply and a facility designed for efficiency, sustainability, and high-value extraction. That’s why this deal works for both of us:
✔ You get a state-of-the-art wastewater facility for less than you’d pay in the long run.
✔ You save money on sewage processing from day one.
✔ I make my money selling back the high-value materials extracted from your waste.
✔ And the best part? We prevent pollution and actually clean up our rivers in the process.
I’ll find a regional waste provider to bring in additional feedstock so the facility stays profitable—and your rates stay low.
You get rid of your poop FOREVER**, I make products, our rivers get cleaner, and we all win. That’s the deal.
As always, I am thinking above my paygrade and the smart thing for any city planner to do is read this, understand it and do it themselves. That said, I would love to get rich by processing your shit.
We propose a fully integrated wastewater treatment and resource recovery facility that will process up to 8 million gallons per day (MGD)—matching the scale of Greenfield, Indiana’s newly expanded wastewater treatment plant. Our system eliminates traditional chemical treatment methods, prioritizing advanced filtration, biofiltration, algae-based purification, and hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) and liquefaction (HTL) for sustainable energy recovery.
This model is available to any city willing to fund the initial build-out. We will then guarantee processing of all wastewater up to 8 MGD at a fixed rate below current municipal costs. If a city has a smaller wastewater volume, we will identify regional waste sources (e.g., septic haulers, industrial waste) to ensure continuous operation and revenue generation.
✅ Mechanical Pre-Treatment
✅ Solid Waste Handling & HTC Conversion
✅ Liquid Waste Processing & Algae-Based Purification
✅ Hydrothermal Liquefaction (HTL) for Biofuel Production
✅ Air System Optimization & Resource Integration
(Kept basic initially, with expansion planned as revenue is generated.)
✅ Processing Warehouse (for value-added extractions & refinement)
✅ Fully Equipped Testing Laboratory (Non-Negotiable Investment for Future Profits)
Component | Estimated Cost | Notes |
---|---|---|
Facility Construction | $30M – $50M | Top-tier wastewater plant infrastructure. |
Mechanical Pre-Treatment | $5M – $8M | Slurry grinding, press operations. |
Biofiltration & Algae System | $10M – $15M | Multi-stage filtration, biofilter chain, evaporation greenhouse, algae grow beds. |
HTC & HTL Reactors | $12M – $18M | Full biochar conversion & fuel production. |
Air & Ventilation Integration | $3M – $5M | Energy-efficient air management system. |
Laboratory & Testing | $5M – $10M | Full analytical capabilities for gas, liquid, and solid waste refinement. |
Processing Warehouse (Basic Setup) | $3M – $7M | For future value-added operations. |
Total Estimated Build-Out | $68M – $113M | Scalable based on location & needs. |
This model provides an economically sustainable and environmentally superior alternative to traditional municipal wastewater treatment, offering long-term savings and potential revenue generation for any city willing to invest in a future-proof solution.
**This is obviously a lie because I do fully intend on selling you back your poop in various forms at a very steep mark up and profit.
